  1. Benadryl! Just kidding. Just bring lots of different snacks to keep him occupied....and be ready for all kinds of rude looks and comments. People automatically think your baby is gonna be a hassle to travel with. The good part is that they won't want to sit by you so if anyone ends up by you you'll know they like kids. I'm seeing Dr. Szeckley this time. Who did you see? I was picking between him and Dr. Chang...and then I remembered when I was prego with Garrett Dr. Chang ruptured my ear drum when I had to see him and I thought....well I guess I don't really want him poking around other places if he hurt my ear!

  3. Ha Ha... try moving to Japan with an 8 month old... 10 hrs just from the states to main land Japan not to count the small flights. SO here is my well experienced advice.
    * If teething bring a ton of teething stuff you’re going to need it.
    * All baby food will be approved if unopened and store bought... they will run tests on it but they will let you take it. Snacks are a good thing. (No sugary snacks that will have him bouncing out of his chair he will be squirmy as it is.)
*Ditch the cute outfit and let him go in something comfy...Pj's if ya have to. Oh and some thing that will be easy to change his bum with... You won’t have much room in the bathroom or on the seat. So easy on easy off outfit that is comfy.
*You can start pre adjusting him to the time change... this will make him more flexible as far as when to eat and sleep... we didn’t do that because it was an 18 hr difference and so I don’t know if that works or not but It was advice I got for shorter trips.
    * Pacifier if he takes one will help his ears. Or give him his bottle during take off and landing... that seemed the easy way to go but she was still nursing but she didn’t have a problem with her ears.
That is a start let me know if you have some spaciffic concerns and I can tell you what I know.
    Good luck
